Welcome to CarePal! These Terms govern the relationship between you and CarePal regarding your use of our application. By accessing, downloading, or using the service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these terms. 3. Data and User Content
l Local Data Storage: For your privacy, all wellness measurements and manually logged data are stored exclusively on your local device. We do not maintain or backup these personal records on our servers.
l AI Processing: Our AI Care features may utilize third-party language model APIs to process anonymized inputs and generate lifestyle insights. By using these features, you consent to this processing, which is strictly for providing interactive and motivational content.
l License: Regarding any feedback or content you choose to submit to us, you grant CarePal a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to utilize, modify, and distribute such content for the purpose of improving our services.
4. Proprietary Rights
All intellectual property within CarePal, including its original content, interface design, and software, is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the application without our prior written authorization.
5. Service Suspension and Termination
We reserve the authority to restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to CarePal at our sole discretion and without prior notice, particularly in cases involving a breach of this User Agreement.
6. No Warranties
CarePal is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee the absolute accuracy or reliability of the insights generated by the app. Your reliance on any information provided within the application is strictly at your own risk.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CarePal and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages—including loss of data or goodwill—arising from your use or inability to use the service.
8. Amendments
We may update this User Agreement periodically. Changes will be effective immediately upon being posted on this page. Your continued engagement with the app signifies your acceptance of the revised terms.
